Our Founder, Marc Bitner, is an Independent General Adjuster with 24 years of insurance experience with time split equally representing policyholders and carriers.

What is “Alternative Dispute Resolution”?
*Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) is a method of resolving insurance conflicts without the high costs and delays commonly associated with litigation by allowing impartial third parties to help resolve the dispute.
M.Bitner Consulting Group offers unique “ADR” services for conflicts resulting from all property-related insurance claims. We resolve disputes for both policyholders and insurance companies quickly and economically. We act as an appraiser or umpire on insurance claims where the insured or carrier has invoked the Appraisal Clause commonly found within the insurance policy. We have decades of experience working with law firms, insurance companies, contractors, engineers, consultants, public adjusters, equity groups, businesses, HOA's and homeowners with high-value and/or complex property claim disputes.

M.Bitner Consulting Group has experienced Commercial Property Adjusters and General Adjusters available to assist with any property claim scenario. We perform a thorough investigation and meet with all parties to assess the overall scope and severity of the damages. We have also handled thousands of residential claims and can assist with any field, desk, or catastrophe adjusting needs. We are very adept at helping set the appropriate reserves the first time; no more "scope creep." We understand the importance of setting accurate, upfront reserves to avoid negative and unpredictable financial implications down the road. M.Bitner Consulting Group also provides a customized, full report along with detailed photo documentation and an RCV/ACV estimate prepared by our Xactimate Level-3 Certified estimators. We take a tremendous amount of pride in our thoroughness, quality of reporting, and honest representation on every claim.
About Our Founder
Marc Bitner
FOUNDER
Marc Bitner began his career in 2001 as an Independent Adjuster (“IA”) at a global independent adjusting firm. Working closely with an Executive General Adjuster, he developed a strong foundation in thoroughness, attention to detail, and most importantly, integrity. His dedication and expertise led to his rapid appointment as Branch Manager of the Denver, CO office. He quickly advanced to District Regional Manager, overseeing most of the Rocky Mountain West. For 12 years, Marc handled a vast array of property claims as a General Adjuster and played a key role in hiring, training, and mentoring both daily and catastrophe adjusters.
Following the closure of the IA firm in 2013, Marc played an instrumental role in building a Colorado-based national public adjusting startup into one of the most well known and respected companies in the country. As Vice President of Operations and Claims, he intrinsically contributed to company's prestigious recognition as one of Inc. 5000's "Fastest Growing Companies in America" four out of five consecutive years. Throughout his tenure, he held multiple positions, including operations, adjusting, marketing, sales, IT, and compliance.
Transitioning from Independent General Adjuster to Public Adjuster gave Marc a unique perspective on the overall claims process. He learned the importance of fostering positive and mutually beneficial relationships between all parties involved. His guiding principle is simple: "Adjusters are adjusters, and claims are claims, regardless of which side of the fence they are on." Every loss should be assessed fairly, without bias, and with professionalism, respect, and integrity.
